Following our debut last year, we were super excited to be part of the Pride in London Parade once again in 2026! The weather was fantastic this year! ☀️ It wasn't too warm when we gathered near our starting point at around 1pm. While it got warmer as we marched through Central London, it didn't stop any of us from singing our joy out loud. It was wonderful to see so many new faces, and to witness people from diverse backgrounds coming together to celebrate our growing commun

Team BJMF was so excited to be part of Queerz Night (Summer) Sports Battle this year! Thank you @queerznight (Instagram) for organising :) Our team was rocking some of the questions, particularly the yummy yummy round (with questions about food) 😉 The round testing our memory definitely got to us, though 💀 Regardless, it was a really fun night!

It’s that time of the year again! We are thrilled to be joining London Pride Parade again this year. We can’t stress enough how important this is for the LGBTQ+ community. A little story about BJMF: Many of us relocated from Hong Kong to London in the last few years. Most of us had never played badminton before nor playing at an LGBTQ+ friendly club, let alone joining a pride parade. Summer is (almost) here, and we had our very first interclub match of the year today! Thank you to Team St. Margaret's for travelling all the way to us. We tried the 15-point format for the first time, and Team BJMF came away with an 8–1 victory after some very close games. Congratulations to Luis, Tai, Rick, Ian, Emad, and Hein for playing so well! 😎

Can you believe we are already 4 months into 2026? This year, over 20 BJMF players signed up for the annual Yonex Bristol Swifts Cup (11–12 April), and our players performed exceptionally! 🥳 There were far too many matches to highlight, but we would like to give a special shout-out to some of our new players/partnerships 😉 Hein and Yi Lian, playing mixed together for the first time, WON their group with some amazing shot-making, WOW, just WOW!
