Mayor's Community Weekend 2025

BJMF received £2,000 National Lottery funding for organising badminton and social events over the Mayor's Community Weekend 2025!

The Mayor’s Community Weekend is a partnership between The National Lottery Community Fund – the largest community funder in the UK – and the Mayor of London. It aims to unite people and highlight what can happen when people come together to celebrate the vibrant culture, communities and diversity that makes London so special.

BJMF Sports will organise three events over the weekend:

1) Badminton Taster Session (12 September, 8-10pm, CitySport, EC1V 7DP)

2) LGBTQ+ Badminton Tournament (13 September, 10am-5pm, CitySport, EC1V 7DP)

3) London-themed Quiz (13 September, 5:30-8pm, The Castle Islington, N1 9HF)
